CHARTTES interviewed Territorians working in the Territory to create Career Snapshot Profiles. These videos are designed to give a brief overview on each occupation whilst helping young Territorians to discover the many varying careers that can be found in each sector.

The videos have been produced in-conjuction with the 2014 eQUIPD magazine.

Jarred Illet, Chief Executive Officer, NT Football Club

Jarred started off as a football player, then set up his own sports magazine company. 7 months ago, he was appointed as the CEO of NT Football Club.

 

Matt Argus, Player / Commercial Operations Coordinator, NT Thunder

Matt is a qualified tradesman. He tells you how he followed his passion in sports and juggles between a full-time job and being a football player in a club.

 

 

Duncan MacGillivray, Head Coach Rugby League, Northern Territory Institute of Sports (NTIS)

Duncan is a former rugby league footballer, who played for numerous Australian clubs, before making his name in Super League for the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. He encourages his players to set goals and aim high for it.

 

Charlie King, Sports Broadcaster, ABC Television and Radio

Charlie tells you what entails to be a good Sports Broadcaster, other than getting the privilege of sitting in the first row of the games.

 

 

Neilia Ginnane, Executive Officer, Sports Medicine Australia NT

Neilia tells you what a Sports Trainer does and how varied this role can be. Talk to her if you are interested in this role and she'll link you up with one of her Sports Trainer.

Territory born and raised, Donald encourages all Territory kids to follow their dreams and passion.

 

 

Mitchell Russell, Personal Trainer, YMCA Top End

Mitchell wakes up before dawn every morning to open the gym. He tells you the pathway to become a personal trainer or group fitness trainer.

 

Karina Gray, Director, Starwin Management

Karina's passion for sport has led her to starting her own business to develop champions in sport, life and the community. She aims to help Territorians become a Star in their sports.

 

 

Paul Schindler, Community Swimming Officer, Swimming NT

Paul started swimming when he was young and now works in administration supporting the communities and swimming coaches. He also enjoys coaching and encourages kids to find a mentor and gain experience in their career path.
